I make milk! What’s your superpower? Seems like my days are buried in piles of poopy diapers, mountains of laundry, and two little children who are each always vying for my attention, yet can never manage to nap at the same time, or long enough for me to catch some zzzzz’s! I currently reside somewhere between awake and asleep.
Some things I love when I get a chance: knitting/crocheting, counted cross stitch (used to work some big huge fancy ones!), belly dancing, cooking (love trying new recipes), gardening (looks like hell now, it’s a baby garden!), started some quilt squares once (fortunately they won’t spoil so one day I’ll finish it), reading, painting, drawing, taking long walks in the woods, looking for agates at Lake Superior, collecting new information about my Finnish/Hungarian heritage, sewing costumes and just hanging out with my friends. I love helping moms breastfeed and will do that whenever I’m asked. Mostly life revolves around my two little ones and I have a fantasy that when they are both in school, my house will be so clean, you’ll be able to eat a meal out of that little corner between the toilet and the wall! But, alas, spiders live there now because I just don’t have the time or energy.
I just saw this on a board I read often:
I didn’t give you the gift of life, life gave me the gift of you.
If there was one sentence that summed up my feelings about my children, this is it. I complain, because it is hard and frustrating and I am always tired and getting sick, but I love them so much I can’t ever hope to explain it. Anyone who is a parent will understand this.

I almost fell out of my chair laughing at this….it is just too good, “I have a fantasy that when they are both in school, my house will be so clean, you’ll be able to eat a meal out of that little corner between the toilet and the wall!”
You are too funny.

I totally agree with the statement. Motherhood is a treasure that cannot be compared to anything else. After your dears are born, you live for them. A clean house that babies reside in is impossible. Epecially if you have two in diapers that nurse, a husband to cook for, and a dog too!
